So A levels are a bore, and my mind has been full of revision material for next weeks mocks however i have rekindled my love for photography. These are a few i took in my room last week for my A level art project - not the best photos ever but still better than what i expected from my camera. The ispirations behind these photos: Sophie Calle and Duane Michals.

• My A level art project for this summer is 'Viewpoints' and me being the way i am, i have decided to do mine on 'Viewpoints on style' but i haven't started yet - and with only 2 weeks to go until the sixth form year starts i think its time to get a move on. I got my inspiration whilst flicking through the Autumn H&M magazine. I'm going to attempt to do my own fashion illustration but combine in some of my own photography, that could class as fashion photography, and then also combine other peoples viewpoints on style. 

• Amelie Hegardt is the artist that i will be studying for my project - i personally i love everything about her illustrations.

• I have an actual addiction, clothes. HAREEM TROUSERS, next on my list - a bit late, they have been around for ages, but i've now got a growing desire to own a pair especially as summer isn't summer anymore and before we know it, winter will be here. roll on payday please.

• I wanted to post a photograph of my new ring that i bought from Razzle Dazzle (a small vintage shop near where i live) a few weekends ago, but of course my camera has let me down again and as you can see you can't see the actual detail of the ring, and its quite amazing in real life, right now i would do anything for a digital SLR, a Nikon D60 is next on my wish list after the lace flares.
• I'm going to Croyde in Devon for a few days tomorrow, heres a few photos i found from last years mini break to Cornwall.

Lets get married and take the bus home

I've fallen in love with these lace flares, they're $130 and i don't know whether bonadrag.com ship to the UK. Right now i can only wish for them. I also tried my prom dress on today, its being made for me by my boyfriend's mum, its perfect, it's in the style of a dress by the brand name 'Acne' and its been made out of a nude colored silk. I can't wait to wear it this friday, with my new slingback platform heels, which i am also in love with. 

I'm going to Devon on Monday morning with my family and boyfriend for a few days, it should be lovely, i haven't been to the beach since i was in Greece in April. Also Regina Spektor's new album 'Far' is a current favorite of mine and i was lucky enough to watch her sing live at Glastonbury Festival on the TV, i wish i was there to enjoy the festival atmosphere though- but theres always next year.

American Apparel

I've recently fallen in love with American Apparel and I'm rather looking forward to visiting their stores when I'm in London this summer. Their simple yet stylish clothing has become very appealing as you can team almost anything with just a plain t-shirt. But my next purchase off their website is the Nylon Spandex Micro-Mesh Long Sleeve Mini Dress, to wear over a plain long top. I love that some styles are unisex, i find that baggier tops can look better somedays.. and i personally think there's something sexy about wearing a man's clothes.
